Orlando Figes – Great Historian of the Russian Revolution

Orlando Figes is a brave man as far as his writing is concerned. One of Figes’ works, known as “A People’s Tragedy”, is a story about the Russian Revolution from 1890 up until 1920. It was his attempt to recreate the revolutionary history in a sole volume. Orlando Figes’ most recent writing piece, called Natasha’s Dance, is another historical masterpiece on the Russian republic; the story started from Peter the Great era up to Brezhnev.
